Questions
Is chanops.org only for operators?
No. Anyone curious about running a channel is welcome in #help.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Use the join box on this page, or any IRC app pointed at irc.librairc.net port 6697 (TLS).
My /mode change disappeared. Why?
The server forgets modes when a channel empties. Lock them with ChanServ: /msg ChanServ MODE #chan LOCK ADD +nt.
Where do I see the exact syntax?
Type /msg ChanServ HELP or /msg ChanServ HELP command.
Someone keeps dodging my bans across channels.
That's for network staff. Open a ticket at the helpdesk with nicknames and times.
I typed my password in a channel by mistake.
Change it right away: /msg NickServ SET PASSWORD newpassword.
